GIVE ART 2011

Visit our gallery for the third annual GIVE ART 2011 exhibit featuring smaller diverse work by several regional artists. The exhibit includes works by Teddy O'Connor, Ali Osborn, Anna Slezak, Darthea Cross, A. Campbell Payne, Alicia Carson, George Stavropolous, Rachel Prouty, and Raphael Griswold. All works are affordably priced at $300 or under, making it a great chance to give original artwork to someone special this holiday season. The GIVE ART 2011 exhibition starts today and will show through January 8, 2012.

Please join us for an artist reception this Thursday, November 10th from 6pm-8pm. Mingle with the artists, enjoy some refreshments and snacks, and check out the new exhibit. Our supply shop will be open during the event (right next door to the gallery), so be sure to stop by and say hello!

Autumn Events in Concord

There's a lot to do in Concord this autumn! You can visit the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery just outside the center of town and pay homage to writer's Nathaniel Hawthorne, Louisa May Alcott, Henry David Thoreau, and Ralph Waldo Emerson. You can check out the Old Manse by the North Bridge where presumably a ghost roams around at night. Scary! Or you can visit some of the many arty events going on around town. Check out our round up of some interesting art-related events below. Be sure to also take time to stroll around historic Concord Center, check out the shops (be sure to stop by our shop and gallery!), get some delicious pastries at the Sally Ann Bakery (we highly recommend the lemon coconut cookies!) and enjoy the foliage and autumn air.

The exhibition will be on display through November 1, 2011.
